Scalypso 2026.1 Released

The latest service release, Scalypso 2026.1, is now available. Key highlights include support for Tekla 2026, enhanced interfaces for AutoCAD, BricsCAD, and ZWCAD that now enable the import of colored point clouds, and a new feature to export site plans in DXF format. Interested parties can request a trial version here. Customers with active 2026 maintenance contracts do not need a new license for this service update. Real-World Project – The Siemens Railway: Where Historical Heritage Meets Modern Engineering

Some 50 years after it was shut down, Berlin’s Siemensbahn is being reactivated—a project of historic significance. By 2029, the 1920s-era line, which is a designated historic landmark, is set to resume operations and provide access to Siemens AG’s new Siemensstadt Square. The overall planning has been entrusted to the Siemensbahn engineering consortium, consisting of Sweco GmbH and KREBS+KIEFER Ingenieure GmbH.
